Other information:
Welcome to the Malmö Men InterCup 2008. After a late cancellation from Canada we are forced to announce that we only will have seven teams participatiing this year but still we wll have a good and interesting tournament.
All teams are asked to fill in line up cards at arrival and leave it to the head secretary before 8.00 on Saturday. A coach and referee meeting will take place at the venue Saturday 07.30.
An opening ceremony will be held in "FIFH-Hallen" Saturday 08:05, and the prizeceremony will take place right after the final game. We serve lunch between 11.30 and 14.00 Saturday and Sunday and at the evenings you will have a dinner at your hotel from 19.30.
The tournament consists of a straight round robin and to separate teams at the same point we will use a system as:
1. Total points, 2. Score of the match between involved teams, 3. Total scoredifference, 4. Most goals made, 5. Extra-throws (best of five throws each).
If three or more teams has to be separated we will use:
1. Total points from matches with involved teams, 2. Scoredifference with involved teams, 3. Most goal made from matches with involved teams, 5. Extra-throws (best of five throws each)
All games are to be played at "FIFH-Hallen". The time between each game is set to 45-50 minutes but there will always be 7 minutes between two games even if there will be any delays. The coin toss for your game will be held 5 minutes before the gamestart at the scoreboard. We toss about who will start with the ball. The "hometeam" is always on the left side of the scoreboard.
We will use music-jingles during timeouts and halftime. The game-lineup will be held on the court 4 minutes before the gamestart.
We also ask you to do your warm up in the "warm up area" and there will not be patching during this tournament.
Any protest has to be handed to the jury or a referee within 30 minutes after the end of the game. The protest fee is SEK 700. The jury consists of Mikael Aspegren, Peter Björkstrand and Kari Räsinen.
